Sheets in the Winder

Sheets in the winder...
Wavin' in the breeze ~
Like real curtains.

That is the most hilarious trailer haiku i have ever read; i can almost hear the solemn voice of Minnie Pearl (or the chick from MAMA's family) as she reads this eloquent and deep ode about her familys sheets at the next sibling/spouse family reunion.....

Thanks! Even a trailer-trash poet does need to be appreciated... :-P

Just to let you know, i am spreading your trailer park Haiku far and wide....if you get a chance read http://trailerfun.blogspot.com/
I think you would truly appreciate it...also, if you can somehow get the "word verification" when someone wants to post a comment to reflect "trailer" like "yoohooagain" or "bubbastash", i think that would reiterate the culture....

Hey, I gave 'Trailer Fun' a link. I wish I could control word verification. That in itself would be poetry, but it's controlled automatically by Blogspot. I tried using no verification, but got lots of real-estate & dating-service spam (go figure).

PS i like your serious blog too, as i recall i wasn't able to post a comment on that one, but I read a few of your poems, i should've known you were a poet! (elegance of speech and intellect - dead giveaway!!) I have a serious side too but i save that for lyric writing:)
